This book was compiled by William Moulton of Lowell, Massachusetts, a city located 24 miles northwest of Boston that had already become a major mill town and manufacturing center by 1830, when this book is dated. The book contains only a handful of recipes, which are: Ginger Cookies; Soft Gingerbread; Cream Cakes; Gingerbread; Ginger Snaps; Cup Cake; and Cookies.
