Description

This unidentified, undated recipe book is part of the library's collection of the papers of William Dunlap (1766-1839), who was a theatrical producer, playwright, and actor, as well as a historian and accomplished painter. Dunlop managed two of New York City's earliest and most prominent theaters, the John Street Theatre and the Park Theatre. The recipe book is organized in the collection under "Series II: Other Papers, 1811-1835, undated" and plausibly dates between the 1810s and the 1830s.
